Politics of the family, pt 1

Two rational individuals freely come together under conditions of perfect equality to establish a new society in which there is nothing which belongs to one which does not belong to the other, and everything which belongs to both belongs to the future. Yet each member is different and the individuality which unfolds is the joy of it. The institution most perfectly communist is the family.
