“My mother said to me, ‘If you are a soldier, you will become a general. If you are a monk, you will become the Pope.’ Instead, I was a painter, and became Picasso.”
Picasso became and Picasso’s mother became the Mother of Picasso.
Mary became the Mother of God.
- Wouldn’t it have been better for María Picasso y López to become María Picasso y López and Mary to become Mary?
- Could Picasso have become Picasso without María Picasso y López becoming the Mother of Picasso? The same goes for Jesus.
What happened then was that Picasso became Picasso and María Picasso y López became the Mother of Picasso; the same goes for Jesus and Mary.
Feminism answers yes to 1. and 2. above, envisaging a different advent.
